James Neal

	James 'Bus' Neal, 81, of DuQuoin, passed away at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at his home.
	Mr. Neal was the previous owner and operator of the Neal Funeral Home.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in DuQuoin, DuQuoin Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Ainad Shrine and was a charter member of both the Kiwanis and the Perry County Health Department.
	He was born August 9, 1921 in Carbondale, the son of Dallas I. and Lillian M. (Kelley) Neal.  He married Marjorie Ann Sapp on April 26, 1940 at Perryville, Mo. and she preceded him in death on May 26, 1986.
	Surviving are one son, Bill Neal of DuQuoin; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Kay) Smith of DuQuoin and Ms. Janet Rheinecker of DuQuoin; one sister, Shirley Hemmer of DuQuoin; six grandchildren, Melanie Jenkins of Swansea, Clinton Smith of DuQuoin, Roger Neal of DuQuoin, Kimberly Neal of DuQuoin, Kathy McKenzie of DuQuoin and James  Rheinecker of DuQuoin and seven great-grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Willard Neal, one sister, Lucy Redman and one grandson, Terry Neal.
	Funeral services were Friday, October 11 at 11 a.m. at Neal-McClure Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Dickerson and Rev. C.L. McKinnies officiating.  Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park at DuQuoin.
	Friends called at Neal-McClure Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. until time of service.
	Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
